Hello my 1st Grade Class, my name is Mrs. Ortiz.  I have been so blessed to be teaching 1st Grade again. I am so excited to meet you! I have been working in education for 10 years. I have been a teacher aid for special education and general education in private and public schools. I have been working with water of life Christian school for over 2 years. This is my second year as a teacher. I want to empower students through knoweldge and wisdom. I believe all students are ABLE to learn and grow. I believe God has given each child a gift and I want to develope that gift. 

My husband and I lived in Arizona for 3 years when we got married. When we had our first son we moved back to the refreshing and beautiful state California.  I have 3 energetic and stunning children. If I am not at work, I am spending all my time with my family.
